hope somebody can help.

i have skoda octavia VRS 2.0TFSI early 2006 model, BWA engine, where after minor front end accident some of the engine wires were burned and possibly caused short and burned something inside ECU. i am electronically minded and will try to fix ECU later on but for the time beeing i was trying to fit Audi A3 2.0TFSI complete engine and ECU setup. i know both PIN/SKC codes but for some reason it doesn't let me swap / change pin code in A3 ecu to match pin in Octy clocks. i tried to put A3 setup on bench and change pin code in a3 set before fitting ecu to octy but that didn't work either.

looks like both ecus were updated at some point with later software or with tuned software

I have MPPS memory dump from both ECUs if that helps
