Hyundai Tucson 2.0 crdi DPF OFF

Postby alex_paval » Thu Nov 28, 2013 10:53 pm

Hello dear friends, I'm new around here and I'm glad to see that peoples do things by their own hands. I have a Hyundai Tucson 2006 crdi 140HP EDC16C39, the DPF is fisically removed by the previous owner that sold me the car and after a few days I see that sometimes in 5th or 6th gear , between 2400 - 3000 RPM , the car starts to lose power and if i push the pedal to max, it goes in limp mode but with no Check Engine light, no error. The single solution is to make ignition off, and on whilist i'm driving to deactivate limp mode. After all of this, somebody had modified the ECU maps and disabled the DTC trouble codes but the sensors are still active (Lambda,Differential pressure etc.). I have diagnosed it with autocom and here are the infos :800rpm (idle) Particle filter pressure : 899hpa, Differential Pressure 0hpa, 2200 RPM : DPF pressure : 1025hpa, DFP : 0hpa, 3500 RPM : DPF Pressure : 1156hpa, DFP : 0hpa. Afterall, the hoses in differential pressure sensor doesn't have any pressure because they are disconnected, so the DPF pressure can't be 899hpa (0.89bar) at idle RPM. Here are the software's informations : Bosch EDC16C39+ C34 PSA - EDC16+ C39 Kia/Hyundai , ECU HW : 1037379622 , ECU SW : 1037379622, 1037506213. Can you help with a orig file of my kind of ECU ? The file that has been read from my EEPROM with BDM is altered because it was modified and it can't be read with MPPS on OBD2 interface, and I observed with winols that a checksum is not calculated as it must be. Thank you very much for support, you will help me alot.

Hello alex,

I was wandering if you managed to fix that issue 'limp mode and no check engine light'.

I have same issue with my tucson 2.0 crdi 140hp after DPF removal. I was thinking that it could be because of the stuck EGR, but I cleaned it and still I got that issue.

thanks in advance for your answer

Hello,
i have the seam problem with Hyndai Tucson 2.0crdi 140 hp vgt.
I bought a car and previous owner removed the dpf physically but the car are in limp mode.
I read flash and are dpf off made with ecusafe.
The car become in limp mode after few minutes of drive can't speed engine more than 2900rpm ,without DTC.
I downloaded a ori bin from internet and i writhed ecu and I have DTC P0472,P2002 and P1186. and limp mode too
I made dpf off with winols (00256 switch) but the car steal in limp mode.
I tried also with volta but with seem result.
I read at this car for a good dpf off need to made a regeneration before, but i think the previous owner not made.
Any one know a solution?

Thanks.
