Hot Start fault, vw golf 1.9 tdi

Hello i have the hotstart fault with my 1.9 tdi golf 105bhp and just wondering how i should go about editing to file to dump abit of fuel in at less rpm when the engine is warm ? i have winols demo and am going to order a cable to read my map but where do i go from there ? thanks in advance and sorry for being such a noob haha

just tried to edit a vw golf map ive found online, i wont be putting this on my car but was wondering if i have done the correct things for the hot start fix? thanks

yeah thats where i got these numbers from buddy thanks, but ive only guessed at were the numbers go, as on his its says hes editing the torque/temp file but on mine there is just numbers so i didnt know if id edited the correct data ? thanks for the help mate

I just looked at your screenshot... little tips...
On the hexdump rightclick, properties, select 16bit hilo or lohi to get a better view of the maps, that way the 2d view will make more sense...
Also select decimal view, rather then hex...
In the map itself the x axis is degrees, rightclick on a number like 2371 and select ○C
The y axis is rpm...
The data in the map is injected quantity...
Right click on any of the data and select properties... in the bottom select factor of 0.01 and it will display the iq in mg...

Hi Mate I am sure there is 2 start Iq maps that should fix the hot start issue

why use volta for a simple fix? buy the time u open volta loaded file for volta to fix u can open ols drop file in find problem map and solve faster
