I own a Golf MK5 GT Sport with a 2.0 TDI BMN engine @125kW stock setting.
DPF+DSG to mention.

While the engine is quite nice, i checked some of the usual chip tuners in germany and also read some background info about ODB based ECU reprogramming.

I fully understand that knowledge is power and that those good ECU files are not for free. But i dont like the idea to pay 600-1000 € to a chiptuner, not knowing what MAP they are using.

Thats why i came here, to read, to discuss, to learn and maybe get some help to tune my ECU map in a few weeks.
Actualy i dont have any ECU hardware, i only got a ODB Bluetooth paired with my Radio/GPS, also got a Autodiag K509 cable + CarPort Software for some car coding stuff.

I prefer to do stuff by myself and not just to pay for someone to do something, not knowing if they are good in what they are doing.

I ordered a cheap MPPS v13 box, will it work for reading my ECU and maybe writing back ?
