Hi everyone!

I’ve been a member here for a while, but I wanted to properly introduce myself and share my tuning ambitions.
My goal is to learn more about DIY ECU calibration, proper data logging, and how to safely flash files. I am particularly interested in the Bosch EDC16 platform, as I drive a 2006 BMW E91 320d (M47, Manual).
First of all, I really want to praise this forum and the community. It’s truly amazing to see that anyone can get professional-grade chiptuning support here completely on a voluntary basis, while others out there charge a fortune for it. I am a home appliance service technician myself, and I regularly do the exact same thing on similar forums for my trade—helping others out with technical advice and knowledge sharing. It's great to see that the same solidarity exists in the automotive tuning world.
Just yesterday, I successfully made my first steps into the hardware side: I set up a stable 14V voltage stabilizer using a server power supply for safe flashing, and successfully read the original file via OBD using Kess v2 over K-LINE.
I am looking to get a clean, custom Stage 1 map tailored for a manual gearbox and factory no-DPF setup. I will be opening a thread in the tuning section shortly with my original file and ECU details. I truly hope someone will be willing to help me out with a solid file, and I would be more than happy to reward the tuner for their valuable time and effort, not just with forum thanks and reputation points.
Looking forward to learning from this community and doing some proper logs once the car is flashed!

Best regards,
Uroš MP
