I'm a web programmer from Romania and I own a 2007 E92 330D 231hp 500NM.
For like 8k km now my DPF started doing me problems (car now has 178k km).
I am well aware that this is because 95% of my driving is in the city, doing only like 2-3km per drive.
Driving over 2k rpm mostly hasn't helped me save the DPF either.

Owell, I am here because I considered this would be a good way to start learning about ECU flashing - I only have prior experience to flashing mobile phones (initial start to this was converting Siemens A55 into Siemens C55 via testpoint and also flashing the hell out of a SX1) & flashing really anything that can be flashed on a PC (cdrom's / hdds / ssds / video cards / mobo's / audiocards).

I know ECU flashing is far more complex so this is why I'm here - learn what software i need, learn what cables/flashing interface I need.
