HELP WITH FIRST PROJECT

I decided on the first project. I've never worked a project but now I want ments do it myself. I have vinols and want to do the tuning Alfa Romeo 156 1.9 JTD 116 hp (EDC15C7). I hope to get the necessary advice about finding the maps, calculations, and everything necessary. Thank you in advance. Any help is appreciated.

I'm working with MPPS 13.02 and ECM 2001. How can I upload to the car the Modified file with MPPS ? I've wrote the Original file than I 've got a .mod file but can't upload with MPPS. What is the problem ? Thank you
