What cars are you primarily planning on working on?

Are you looking for a Master or Slave tool?

Do you have low volumes so annual subscription is a factor?

Kessv2 and KTAG are very popular and together give you very good coverage.

Magic Motorsport X17+Bosch plugin is very good, excellent guides and help desk. Lots of accessories albeit expensive.

MPPS with Tricore add-on is very good and no annual subscription see if car list is sufficient for your needs.

CMD is very good for OBD , but be careful of cars needing their expensive Fxx plugin. You need to first also buy their even more expensive Tricore module as a prerequisite. Support leaves a lot to be desired and language barrier of their Tech's is an issue.
