HELP Lost immo after MPPS Flash Ford EDC16C34

Postby divagomania » Sun Jul 21, 2013 6:16 pm

Hello,

After I flashed the ECU with MPPS V13, I lost IMMO.
Ford Focus C-MAX 1.6 TDCI EDC16C34
1037396911

With tool/software Focom I get: PATS: not started/Ecu blocked
Car stays in Limp mode, does not rev upper than 3000rpm.

Could someone IMMO OFF or Give me login CODE to pair ECU with keys again (if possible)?
Urgent, I can pay.

Thank you

If car starts and runs without turning off, than there is no problem with immo. You probably lost injector coding...
Did you try to flash it back with original? You will probably have to recode it.

Thanks, for your reply.

I did not saved a copy by BDM. And MPPS only reads part of the flash (Maps area I think).
I have managed to get original complete flash dump and that seems ok comparing to my original MPPS read.

I think problem is in eeprom, I'm still in limp mode with system error on dash. I get this code P1187.
With Focom tool I can read Injectors correctly, but in PATS state I get ECU not started (I don't remember the correct words).

I do not know if I can recode injectors with focom without the login code (inbound code i think)? I will try that tomorrow since the car is at the Mechanic.

Do you still think it is injector coding needed?

Thank you

With Focom tool I was no able to recode keys, nor VIN, nor Injectors. Tried to do Write as-buil-in data (with original snap shot) but gave Focom software error at middle.

I puted Original BDM dump (flash+processor only) and went to Ford dealer and got full recode.

15 min work. And everything is good again.

But now I am using FAP emulator that fulls ECU but still get Regeneration from time to time (i think to fully full the ECU it should full the temperature sensor too (do not know at which temperature)). The beginning of this crusade was to remove FAP.

Do you think I can use BDM to save the complete flash dump (not eeprom) with the FAP byte switch disabled, with no problems?
Should I use WinOLs checksum or BDM100 checksum?

Thank you

In Ford dealer they reprogram original data.

Then with BDM I reflashed with fap off file, and all is fine know.

Does someone know what to do with aditive module?
Can I disconnet it?

Thank you
