Dear Worm1960,

like i know you have to read out Data from 24C02 EEPROM.
So i think you have to open your ECU.

For myself im a newbee. So its not guaranteed what i say.

friend KILLME first and foremost thank you for your attention. And it is not possible to deactivate immo by vag tacho? the softare in question has an option to turn off immo, ie, it is not necessary to open the ECU and remove the eprom.
am I right?

thanks

Sorry Worm1960
im not able to answer your qeustion, because i dont know whether its possible to do that without opening your ECU.
Maybe its possible but your need the Hardware too to do that. Maybe that Hardware is very expensive.

Hi Worm 1960

My advice is, better buy yourself some good programmer like UPA or OMEGA and do it with it. If you by some VAG tool ( VAG ECU TOOL, K+CAN COMMANDER, VAS 5054 or etc.) you will use it only for VAG brands and on some models you won`t be able to do something without reprogramming the EEPROM or MCU.
As I see, your one is EDC 15V, and as KillMe3 said, it is with 24C02. Maybe some of the VAG tools can do it via OBD, but I`m not familiar. The best way - on the table with the programmer and good soft

My Programmer:
MCUmall GQ-4X
Expensive but a good one.
But to do that you need experience in Solder- and Desoldering. So you need a Reworkstation too.
