Hello from the UK!

Postby Sprockets » Thu Dec 06, 2012 8:21 pm

Well, as a quick introduction to myself, Ive always been in the motortrade/performance side on the cars and bikes so always love to learn all I can to keep ahead of the game! Been playing with aftermarket stuff for ages (aswell as the old school carbs...remember those things? theres only so much you can do with a hole in a piece of brass!)

The trouble is, I really like what I call the OEM+ look. Basically, whatever I do I like it to look like it should be there from the factory, and this is why I love modifying the stock ECU. Its a tremendously powerful device, and its also free as it comes with the car :D

I used to work for a Superchips dealership, but it was a very transparent process, basically a slave device, but it gave me good practice on soldering

So basically, I'm continuing my quest for knowledge anywhere I can, and this forum seems a nice and relaxed place to learn. been lurking on numerous forums for a long while now, but decided to poke my head out and say hello on this one :)
