Hello, just wanted to introduce my self. I've been tuning mostly Subaru's for the last few years via open source programs. I am mechanic full time, so I have a strong working knowledge of automotive systems, but not am very familiar with some of the in depth programming aspects of tuning. Specifically I'd like to learn more about defining maps and different connection protocols. Coming from the Subaru world of open source, most of the leg work has been done and definitions are readily available. I've recently been been fiddling with Mercedes and Audi's using Bosch ecu's , and information seems to be a little harder to come by.
