Hi all,

Just a quick note to introduce myself. I am not a mechanic ( i work in IT) but i have worked on cars for many years (old skool carbs and clockwork ignition!) but now that I have some time I want to look into engine management. My first project is to fix my mjet Fiat Croma by removing the dpf, and remapping it.
I have many years experience in parsing and processing binary files( in telecoms and banking) so now I want to do something interesting with all those endless hexdumps. :P

I would welcome any advice on starting out. As I learn, I will share the secrets!! :wave:
