hello from idaho

hey guys, my names eli, I'm not new to tuning but I'm looking to expand the depth of what I know, I come from a honda/mitsubishi background where most of the tuning is done with a vehicle specific program but now I have a bmw where things aren't as convenient. I'm looking to learn how to use tunerpro to try squeezing a little more out of my car. a little about the car, it is a 5/'99 model e46 323i with a m52tub25 motor and a Siemens ms42 ecu. I have access to factory programs and I currently have the latest eu2 tune on it. I know I won't get much out of tuning the factory maps but some is better than none. plus the knowledge and experience add to what I already know.

that's all I can think of right now, if anyone can point me in the right direction on how to get a .bin and .xdf files for my ecu and just a general idea or writeup on how to go about learning

thanks in advance, Eli
