Hi guys,

i am Ruediger from Germany, former Car Mechanic und Electronics.
I am a beginner and want to read information about ECU Tuning,
I want to understand what and why, think i can not modify the whole mapping from my ECU, that is the stuff for the Pro´s.
I have a Citroen C5 THP, maybe i find some information about this engine,
we can found this kind of engine Codename "Prince" in some Mini Cooper and of course in the Peugeot/Citroen Family, e.g. DS3.
The only mod until now is a other, better blow off valve, the original is only good for 1 bar and is very early defect because of the rubbish original rubber membrane,that part is leaking and getting cracks after a short time.
I have changed only the stuff inside from the version that is used in Volkswagen FSI Engine, this is stronger and good up to 2 bar boost.

I forget, basics knowledge about engines, electronic stuff in the car, what is hex and so on i have.
We had during my electronics training assambler programming, basics but i believe it is important to have that basic stuff for further studies.
I need the specific knowledge about how to find the map in the file and so on, of course that is not easy but this is the challange and i want to learn.
So i am happy for any source where i can find videos and other stuff to read, i want to improve myself, my knowledge.
Maybe a Professional can teach me, i dont want to do that as a job later on, i am retired since i am 48 years old, that is two years ago and dont neet do work for the rest of my live ( i have a special kind of Rheuma since i am a teenager).
It is only a kind of hobby, sounds maybe strange for some people here but i have this disease and can not work all day long.
Cars (bikes too but i can not ride anymore) and tuning that is my hobby since i learnd car mechanic, it is a part of my live, a important part.
Would be so nice to hear from a Pro, i live in Germany but i can come to the U.K. or a other EU country for that reason.
