Hi,

just getting started with ECU remapping and learning more about EDC15, in particular - lots of great info on this site!

Looking forward to learn!

Hi,

thanks :)

I'll be working on my own car, a Golf Mk4 1.9 TDI VP with EDC15V.

Current setup:
~150hp, ~320Nm (limited to save the turbo *ahem*, or that was the idea)
11mm piston on the VP37
Bosio P764 .216 bore injectors
Sachs SRE clutch
single mass flywheel from 1Z/Golf 3 (dual mass didn't like >280Nm torque)
longer fifth gear (0,756->0,7)
stock GT1749V turbo (up til recently, when it died)

Still in the mail: GT1752VB hybrid with CNC machined compressor wheel, high quality dynamic balancing after assembly - shall live where the others died, but the current remap has to go or at least be improved.

The turbo dying due to the remap is one of the main reasons I'm learning how to remap myself - I'm pretty sure not all is as it should be in the current file (done by a local guy).

Hope I won't have too many stupid questions :)

Regards
