Hi all

Old school car and motorcycle owner here with about 3 decades of car modding experience. I bought myself a cheap Mk5 GTI last year as a family car because my 6 year old can't go on the back of my motorcycle for another few years yet. I am now in the process of upgrading the GTI as cheaply as possible when time and finances permit. I'm probably going to buy and install an F23T kit in a month or two unless I find something better for similar money in the meantime. I'm also looking at how I can remap my ECU on the cheap, hence I am now here to see what I can find :)

Have not decided what ECU I'm going to go with yet, so far the Integrated Engineering OBD programmer looks good, it's about A$300 andid I'm lucky I can learn how to remap it myself with a road tune after finding a decent K04 map after installing the F23T. If not then I can buy one of Integrated Engineering's for $800 or so.
