Some years ago, a guy on this website made a file for a golf 5 1,9tdi for me, the file had been extracted using Galetto 1620, but it turned out the car was running edc16 and my unit was only able to write to edc15.

I now have the MPPS and am ablke to write to EDC 16 as i have used this to remove the EGR from my Touareg just over 1 year ago.

I wanted to fix the Golf (my parents car) that i never got around to, but the file he made, does not work for MPPS.

I am unable to upload the file to this website, as it keeps saying extension is unknown.

This the the ECU mapping made many years ago, it had EGR off and hot start fix, where the jets open earlier when the engine is warm. https://easyupload.io/7yvl5a

Can anyone help me edit the new file so it has the hot start and egr off, so i can uplaod it to the ecu :)

I have added a zip file with both the new MPPS file and the old non working mapping that was made years ago.

You only need to rename the files and add a ".BIN" extension... like this:

That does not change anything.

This is the error when I try to load the file i have from years ago. I think it just doesn't work, which is why I hoped someone could help me with using the newly made file of the original ecu.

If i try to write the new ecu file made this morning, no issues, it will write it. But not the old one.

Thank god that mpps didn't want to write that file, otherwise the ecu would have been screwed.

Thats good, but can anyone help with egr off on the mpps file i posted?

and maybe also hot start fix, i do not know how to code this, all i can do, is read and write a file.
