General OBD Problems with CMD

Postby Volkerm » Tue Feb 03, 2015 10:13 pm

Hi to all!

I have a lot of Problems with ME7.X/ME7.5 from VAG (Audi S4/ Audi A6 1.8T)

Identifiy/read is not possible.

I use an CMD.

Or should i use another Hardware for reading this ecu´s (maybe FGtech or else..) ?

Genuine CMD reads me7.X fine over obd the odd vag sometimes needs dash fuse removing but always 100% via OBD unless Bricked of Couse

????
ME7.X don't have BDM

either boot mode buy grounding pin 24 on flash or epprom off the ecu
but if u cant read via obd chance could be the car stoping comms even if u pin out on the bench u should read with out boot mode

I will try your suggestion with the dash fuse...In addition I will stabilize the battery voltage.

If that not work, i will try to open the ecu and do it extern via Boot
