Hello to all,

I am new to winols and ecu editing.I tried some edc ecus and they are quite easy.

I read my car's ecu with MPPS (data read not full) and when I open it in winols it does not recognise maps. I can try to find maps but I do not know offset, map factors etc. I want to try to fine tune my own car's ecu, just for hobby. My car seems strange sometimes and I want to try and smooth it out (just for hobby and fun). Can anyone send me damos for this ecu or map pack or tell me what and where to look.

I'm pretty much in the spot as you were, although I'm just curious and don't actually want to change any values apart from maybe the egr that I already blanked.

Would be great to hear what you ended up doing!

Hi,

I did, i downloaded a mappack and developed it on my own using damos from sid803 (there are many similarities). Download it and tell me what you think (you will find that many maps are doubled, filter it out). Pretty much no one wants to share knowledge for this ECU, i don't know why. Also there is DTC tables and switches for them in the file.

There is no pass for this, so i hope i can help many people out there. I do not do this for living, i am just home curious mechanic ;)
