Fiat croma headlight leveling

Postby KovacsEL » Wed Aug 21, 2024 5:30 pm

The car was originally equipped with Xenon headlights, but the previous owner replaced it with plain halogen bulb headlights due to a break. The Xenon is automatically leveled, the halogen can be leveled manually using the row of buttons from the passenger compartment. I managed to wire and connect everything. I wired buttons and everything. If I connect a computer to the car, the leveler works with it, but not with the buttons, nor does it show the level on the dashboard. How can I activate this with a computer or anything?

Check in Multiecuscan or AlfaOBD:

Body
- CAN Info status of xenon headlights node
- CAN Setup active it if needed + Proxy aligment

Headlights
- Litronic xenon calibration

I've already tried. But it says that since there is no Xenon in it, the connection failed because there is nothing to connect to.

But you want then re-install xenon or do full working halogen.

If it's xenon then when install all parts it must recognize with Multiecuscan.

If it's halogen then about dash information and level buttons you must check wiring, lights on signal goes to body, but buttons level signals and level info goes first to dash, then from there to lights level motor. Dash is the same for xenon and halogen car, but not wiring.

Yes, the wiring is different for the 2 lights. I have already converted from Xenon to Halogen. I connected and wired everything based on the wiring diagram, but I can't even see the level on the dashboard. Leveling works with a computer, but not with a manual leveler from the passenger compartment. Converted from Xenon to Halogen.
