If it's euro 4 shouldn't regen, anyway first 300-500 kms check dash, temps or fuel consumption. It's the cleaner method, no dtc delete etc.
For EGR simply check +400 mg/i @ idle = closed.

Well then your EGR unit or wiring is damaged. This method needs EGR unit ok and connected for clean remap. You need dirty methods, not my prefered, anyway try this for P0403, disconnect EGR, if ok all done if not I do not made.
