extract map files from edc16

Hi, just want to know what software i need to extract the files from my ecu. its and edc16, I would like to do it through the obd2 port rather than removing the ecu, I assume its possible as the car was remapped with the ecu fitted.
Im curious to what changes have been made to the map compared to my original. I have winols but it doesnt perform the ecu reading does it?

Hi
Full original WInOLs with BDM's adapters can read direct from car to winols.

You should use for example galletto, mpps to read from ecu.

Maybe write make model and engine version, to find best hardware

ah excellent, i will try this later, just realised there is an mpps cable at work.
the bdm adapter, doesnt that need to be plugged in to ecu or can this all be done via obd2?
the guy that did my remap, i didnt see him go under the bonnet for anything.

I will put details in my sig but its a mk5 golf 1.9 tdi BKC 105ps edc16.

normal BDM need to get out ecu and open

but evc has obd2

maybe i has different name but it;s all from EVC - i think bdm 'father' :)

mpps sholud read vag edc16

I have the same question. Mini Cooper D with EDC16. I'm only interested in read/write from this ECU.
What's the best/low cost SW and HW for this?

For MINI Cooper EDC16C35, with Galleto II FGTecH.
Galleto 1260 and MPPS have no driver for this ECU.(only for EDC15C2)

Thank you for your help. Any suggestion where to buy?

Also, is it possible to read (at least) this ECU with my INPA DCAN cable? Is there any software for this?
