the program does how many interpolations are needed. it doesn't care how different axes are... ;)
alex_sk wrote:I compare result of this program with my previously calculated EOI maps and see differences. I think this program calculate wrong. We mast do few interpolation for each point because axes of maps not equal. Show algorithm calculations in this program.

be careful: my program does interpolation but it doesn't do extrapolation.
that means if you have rail pressure in your rail map something like 1470
BUT in injection duration the last value of pressure axis is 1400..
the program will not know what to do with 1470 so you get funny values...

I start EOI builder from file manager and verbose=0 or 1 not do difference - program window blink and die :)
When I use Shell difference appear. Possible add "press any key" be useful for see program messages at any case.
Differences with my calculations is in all points of EOI map, not at right border.
Possible reason is that my SOI and RailPressure maps used for test have different axes (I specifically used the hard case) and you example SOI and RailPressure maps have same axes.

set autoexit to 0 if you want to see verbose or not...
again: the program doesn't give a sh*t if your axes are all different.... it will always get the value that it needs with interpolation
can you post your soi, id and rail in csv?
so i can take a look

I can't show maps what I say about, sorry. But I test this program on stock maps from Laguna II 2.2dci 363705 0281010637 and calculate EOI with my algorithm. All maps in attach. Take attention on 760 rpm row - iddle. You program show EOI 5-6 degree BTDC. This unreal, engine will stop from negative torque. In reality at iddle late SOI and late EOI for minimization noise, as shown in my EOI map. Part of other points different too. And I think that you map not right at this points as at iddle.

it's not hard to notice that you get funny values because in soi you have negative values...
also in ID map you use . and , for decimal. you should use whatever your system use but only one.
for example if your pc is set to USA you have to use .
if you are in some european country you have to use ,
because EOI builder will work with , or . based in your system

I will investigate more anyway...

ok, there is a bug in the program so it doesn't read correctly the minus in negative numbers.

if your SOI has only positive values EOI will be good.

Thanks alex_sk for bringing up the "negative bug".
Also in this version the program will use "last known value" just like ECU does when the axis is not extended.

Now all calculated right. Confirmed :)
Nice work!

Negative SOI now often used for minimization emission NOx at low to middle rpm and low to middle IQ. Smoke rise but DFP cut it.
