[Hi, if i may ask, if we shutdown the EGR is the same as to put a small piece of metal in the admission tube isn't it? If so, isn't there the possibility of the entrance of air wouldnt be suficient? I'm asking this, because i cutted the air of the EGR with a small metal plate and in the past weekend, an error ocurred (EGR code) and the engine lost power, but still running, but just a little slow. I think the air entrance were not suficient. Does this make any sence?

Many thanks.

Incorrect.

The engine sucks in MORE oxygen, as there is no recirculation between exhaust and inlet.

It's just the antipollution system that makes your car go into limp mode.

Delete the DTC, and if the engine runs fine, you just have to modify the software.

Hi!

Or I don't quite get the instruction or are incomplete.

I've tried the solution on 3 different cars with the same results. Te egr is closed , ok, but the turbo regulation of air flaps go crazy and the car hiccups like hell and has no performance at all.

I have disabled the fap as well on those cars.

Do I have to unplug some sensor or change additional bits or what?

And the second bit does what it says, it disabled the turbo..... don't know why someone would do that.

For the case - 2.0 HDi engine - 90 and 110 HP:
110 HP engine has electronically controlled turbo.
90 HP engine doesn't, doesn't even have a vacuum valve, nor the wiring for it.
Both have EDC15C2.

Any clue? :)

I want to disable the EGR in his Citroen c5 2,0 RHZ EDC15C2 0281010365 - 353324, if I go to the address 6111F (and 7111F) I see the following sequence:
001 001 001 000 001 000 001 000 001 048
but in your example it is different
001 001 000 000 001 000 001 000 001 048
Is this normal?
