Hi all,
Does anyone have experience with EGR off and DPF still functioning in his car? What I would like to know is if the ECU of a BMW 530d. will allow regeneration with no problems with EGR off ?
someone say that a working EGR is the precondition of DPF regeneration, is this true?

It should still work if its not removed from software.
