egr off edc15c2 citroen c5 2.2hdi 136hp

Postby sjonv » Wed Nov 13, 2013 1:31 am

hello,

Tonight i had this car with problems egr, p0400.

With help from other post i found the egr switch and thought this would work to disable the egr system and and this dtc.

when flashed the file car has no dtc, also checked working of egr, is 0% , but now car is like in limp mode, no power and very smokey.

can someone check what i did, or have solution for only switch of the dtc p0400?

the egr system is renewed, also checked for leaks etc.

ori and egr off attached.

Nice to see some help.

Hello.
Here is the modified file. Having installed it, it is absolutely necessary to disconnect the solenoid valve egr.

Hello.
When the mapping is modified there is two solutions 1: the solenoid valve egr is not any more ordered ; 2: the solenoid valve egr is permanently ordered.
It is necessary to disconnect it. We can block by a plate and disconnect the solenoid valve egr.
Sorry my english

you have found the right switch 6111d and 7111d set to zero, disconnect the electric from the solenoid. your egr will be shut off the right way. most of the time when you have P400 there is a vacuum leak. check the vacuumbox of the swirlvalve, most of the time its broken. (links op het spruitstuk)

I have the same problem with my car, I have a error P402 and the car is in limp mode but turn off the ignition and limp mode is off, One chiptuner make me a file with egr off and fap off and eliminate FAP on BSI, but now the error is P401 and the limp mode is on always although turn off and turn on the car. Why? I'm very worried.

I attach the ori file
