EGR for Golf V 2.0TDi BKD

Hi all,

I have removed the EGR valve and replaced with straight pipe.

Could anyone help me with disabling the EGR in the ECU?

Will this prevent EML from displaying?

I actually modified those addresses myself to 0 last night and downloaded to ECU. Took it for a drive and no errors appeared but my brother rang me this morning to say the EML came back on. I'll get him to call over again this evening and I will scan for faults.

Ok, just scanned the car and sure enough fault P0401 (001025) Insufficient flow is being recorded.

Could someone help me by mapping this DTC out?
