egr and dpf off

Postby jantsi » Mon Feb 02, 2015 12:44 pm

Welcome.
I am now experimenting with some of the files from the Internet. For example, the EGR off Ford Galaxy 038906019LR SG-1565 has three cards, but only the first is modified. This has also been the other cars the DPF off (modified only the first card). I think it should change all the cards, or I have misunderstood something?
I checked the ECM Titanium.

Thank you for responding.
Of course, but the point is that the forums are also tuned files and the question is: I have tested this and many of them have been modified only in the first map. My example is the EGR holds three cards, but only the first block. And that's why am of the opinion that the EGR should change all three cards. Is my opinion is right?

depending of transmission

MT
AT
or AWD the data area is différent so for example the file that is mod in block one shouls only egr off the Manual transmission
the file that is mod in block 2 should affect the Automatic transmission cars
and the file that is mod in softcoding block 3 should egr off the All wheel drive

this is only a explanation
because not sure the galaxy exist in AWD ... but it exist in MT and AT and ecu is may be share with a awd vw ...

modifying all the sw block is not needed if you know what softcoding the car is used you mod only the used softcoding and win time
