EDC16u1 Help pls

Postby v0221 » Tue Oct 15, 2019 7:20 pm

Hy guys,

Please help me, i made a huge mistake today. I tried to switch off the EGR in my friend's Touran 2.0pd DSG 2004 bkd, and when i was moving near the car, i kicked my laptop up while it was writing. The Ksuite told me that there was an error occured during the writing. :( Unfortunately, i did not make BDM backup... How stupid i am...

- Recovery with Kess doesnot work.
- Then I opened the ECU and read the proc, flash, eeprom separately. Flash was full of 0s, e2prom was also corrupt.
- I found some similar bdm files from Touran 2.0pd dsg, and tried to write it back with immo off, but car still doesnot start.

Do you have any idea, or full original BDM backup to recover or clone that ECU? Should I looking for a similiar HW/SW ECU, and switch off the immo in it?

I have attached my files. The first folder there is an Ori (OBD read) and the modified file what i wanted to write back. The second folder the BDM "backup" after the accident, and a third one is what i wanted to clone to my ECU with immo off.

//EDIT: The transmission signs (PDNR) are consantly flashing on the board, when i switch on the dashboard. It was not before. The fans also spinning.

HW: 0281011844
SW: 1037372498
VIN nr.: WVGZZZ1TZ4W166611
SW ver.:
Spare:
Engine: R4 2,0L EDC
HW Ver.:
SW upg.: 03G906016HK 7000

Please help me! :( :( :(

Record native eprom, CPU and egroff flash on BDM (read OBD flash ful edc16u1). Check goes to the computer diagnostics. Yes, it means the ECU came to life further with a tidy, dsg see errors rub.

Sorry, i dont understand what you said exactly. Can you specify it pls?

Yesterday evening an another local more experienced chiptuner told me that, there will be a problem around my MPC. Today, i will write a complett BDM file with Ktag (with not as same SW version as mine, but at this moment I cant connect to the ECU via OBD, because the car cant boot) and hopefully the car wont start because of the immo etc. but i will be able to see the ECU via OBD (on bench for example), and we can do a complett ECU upgrade via original Odis, or vag can pro.

If it doesnot work, i have to find an another EDC16u1, and try to match these two ECUs somehow. Maybe if i modify the eeprom content in new ECU vin, immo etc, and write a flash from old one, it has to work, hasnt it?
