EDC16C39 ECU differences

Hi,

I'm currently in the process of investigating the ecu of an Alfa 159 2.4jtd.
I know the ECU is EDC16C39 and I found out many other models are using the same ecu.
I was wondering if there are differences on the pinout. I assume there are none and basically all EDC16C39 ecus are the same on the inside, only the maps are different.

well... after reading around a bit, I came to the conlcusion they are the same internally.. pinout might be different, not 100% sure on that :)

Look at the number of hardware and software. Number of hardware must match. IMHO.
