EDC16C31 Popcorn/Hard Cut limiter

Postby Blastera » Mon Jun 05, 2017 7:12 pm

Hello, i want to do Popcorn/Hard Cut Limiter on my e60 530D EDC16C31..
so i have read some posts and learned that, its hard to make proper popcorn on edc16 ecus... its much easier on edc15.. so i have seen some videos on youtube, same car with same ecu had popcorn.. so i liked it :D
so i want to do it myself.. what i must change? only TL maps? and tell me addresses for maps which i must edit ;)
P.S when car is in P or N gear rev limit is 3997 RPM... if i edit values of 4000RPM, i think it may have problems while driving :D i need to make hard cut limiter on both maps (while gear is in P or N and when gear is in Drive )
i think i talked too much :D sorry for that..

this is ecu, hw and sw numbers

Bosch
EDC16.A0
1037361890
1037390905

Thanks...
I hope someone will help me ;)
Best Regards 8-)

I want two TL map, one for idle and one for drive...
at idle car revs at 4K rpm and when driving about 4.7-4.8K RPM ;) at main TL map i think its for drive..
also at main map would be a high drop... i must drop approximately between 3-4 rpm ;)

doesn't have your ecu a single value rev limit like edc15? look near before duration maps
