hello
I really want to get into re-programming of the ECU and especially stay true to ecubay by purchases and update but first I must read and reread.
I apologize because I do not speak much English, I come from a French-speaking country.

I would like to read this but I'm not able to (I think it is that thing with having not enough messages on the forum). As I'm willing to getting into reprogramming, could I have some help for being able reading that?

Regards

As a newbie, the first thing I want to know is how to read and save the software from my EDC16U31 ECU.

I was told to use BDM. I did some research on that and learned that I need to pull out the ECU from the car. I am not yet comfortable doing that at this stage.

So, I did further research to find out what I can use to read and save the software from my EDC16U31 ECU via OBD. I found out that MPPS can do it. May I ask if this is correct?
