Hello everyone, as an amateur, I'm asking for help from experts. I can't edit the EDC15C4 E39 2003 530D ECU map, and I'm not very good at using WinOLS. My settings are SW HW 1037351761 7789376. Could someone share the XDF file for this ECU? Thank you.

Why you can’t edit it? Some errors showing on winols or what? Or you need a mappack? Be more specific about your problem.

Actually, I'm a beginner and WinOLS seems very complicated to me. I need help opening the XDF file in Tuner Pro and working with my own ECU file instead of dealing with ready-made files. I want help from experts who can teach me how to fish, not just give me fish.

I don’t think that you will find xdf for exact sw/hw numbers for your file. Also if you already have winols I suggest you to learn it,believe me it’s worth it. There’s some videos and many info on the internet and this ECU is not very difficult. If you need I can make you a simple mappack for your exact file with maps needed for basic tuning. Other than that if you don’t want to learn keep searching for that xdf or you can find some people that can do something with your file.

Thank you so much for your interest. Let me ask you this: my car's EDC15C4 ECU has 4 EGR map lines, and terms like turbo pressure, rail pressure, and injector clearance time are all configured separately. Do I need to configure each one individually when making adjustments? But in EDC16 and later models, there's only one of each.

If you talking about maps: there is main EGR maps,maximum allowable EGR flow or something like that(I don’t remember now exactly how they ate called),also this ECU has EGR switch. Boost maps if there’s 2 of them you need to look at damos,one could be for normal driving other could be for sport mode or for different things. SOI and Duration maps: There’s with and without pilot injection maps. Again you need to look at damos or have a proper mappack to know which ones they are. Same with other maps like DW and Smoke maps: there’s normal ones,dynamic and limp/low range ones. As I said it’s best to have some file with a proper mappack that has good map names and values in it or find damos/ols file and translate them. As for EDC16 there’s way more maps of each group and it’s more difficult than this ECU
