EDC15C3 on the table and immo problem

Postby alex_sk » Fri Mar 01, 2013 11:02 am

Hi ALL!
I want start Renault EDC15 ecu on the table for same experiments but immo not allow.
I read in one site that for Renault only way load virgin dump to 24C02 and to buy immo emulator. I not like this.
Other way possible?

Hi Alex,

Is the EDC15C3 unlike EDC15C7?
There must override the 95p08 from address 0x180 to 0x18F with 0x00. Take "Hexworkshop" and Willems Programmer with a SOIC-Clip.
For me works then on the table.

With Renault ecu this not work. Each manufacturer have own algorithm of immo in main firmware. This ecu will wait connection with UCH and code transmission.

sorry,
I can not help you.
I only know the addresses of the two memory locations in the EDC15C7,that you must change.
With me already the complete delete the 95P08 helped. Then there are indeed errors in memory. But if you look at the contents of the EEPROM previously insured, you can even reset after the "operation" everything again.

are you quite sure that pins 4,5 AND 58 are at +12v.
58 is a Immo-Pin and must be connected on 12V+.

EDC15C3 have other pinout. Immo is pin G2 connector A (grey). Pin E3 +after ignition supply, + after relay is pin M2 and M3 connector B (brown).

Its not right. Pinouts can depend from car manufacturer and ecu software too. For example, Renault EDC15C3 with version diagnostics 8 and 10-12-14 have differences in pinouts and different hardware numbers but same sockets.
