EDC15C2 Help for Tuning

Postby Alex1216 » Wed Dec 29, 2021 1:35 am

Hello, I am currently in the process of making software for a colleague, I have only worked on the EDC15P + so far and therefore I am not very familiar with the EDC15C2, can someone please explain to me what the rail pressure map is and is available with an EDC15C2 no injection duration maps and pump nozzle?

And who could tell me what the current performance is based on the file?

Hi Alex!
The file is not bad. It is tuned by % but not bad.
But...
- You don't need decalibrate IQ to TQ map;
- don't need decalibrate DOI;
- You should switch EGR off by EGR base map or with s/w switch (at address 726CD);
- don't need to touch overheating protection map;
- don't need to touch TL for limp mode;
- in some areas in SL map Your AFR is lower than 17. The car will be smoky. Try to go to AFR not below 17 or 17.5. If needed extend x-axis of SL map to let say 1050 mg/cyc air;
- DW is little bit aggressive. Try to modify it from 50% pedal position and 1500 rpm.

Did You try this file on the car?

Rail pressure map is base map for fuel pressure in the rail. Its axis are IQ and rpm. For certain rpm the rail pressure must be such as to ensure that the appropriate amount of fuel is injected from the x-axis.
