ED16 1.6 PSA hdi

Postby Wod » Tue Aug 26, 2014 7:00 pm

Hi there, im completely new to ecu programming. I have flashed devices for custom firmware but thats about my limitation. Its the first time iv owned a diesel and im wanting to replace the turbo, but im looking to use the one from the 110ps model as mine is the 90ps. The difference is that the 110ps turbo gt1544v is a a variable vane turbo where as mine is not. Both the turbos are controlled by vaccum however. Is this a simple case of opening up my map file and copying the boost parameters from a 110ps map? Or maybee i could flash the whole 110ps map (providing i edit the injector codes so i dont loose them)?

Thanks for any help given

That's my problem too. We think without the damos file it can't be possible. :(

It must be possible. Just have to bare in mind that the vacuum controls the vanes so the turbo map needs lowering at the very least as they over boost.
