ECU map identifying

Hi guys I've used ecm titanium a few times and it always brings up what each map is I.e turbo pressure torque limiter etc, but with winols it finds the chksum and the maps but there never named am I doing something wrong our is there something missing to label each map?

winols does not give you any map definition. you need a damos or mappack to get the right definition. we mainly label our own maps as we go along and learn.

try to search tuning GUIDE : 1) EDC15-rev1.3 for first 2) EDC16 tuning guide version 1.1.pdf 3) MSA15 tuning guide. VAG Cars.

thanks guys for the replies, ill downlaod the tuning guides and if either of you could recommend where i can get the map packs from it would be appreciated

Depending on what you want, I would not use map packs.

To judge if a generic or bought map is good/safe you need to learn the basics.
When you've learned the basics, it's just as easy to just write your own map :D
