E90 320d fleet edition - bad remap?

Postby dextuar » Wed Aug 24, 2016 7:54 pm

Hi everyone,

I am driving a BMW E90 '06 320d which was restricted to 150ps because of some tax regulations in Germany. However, I wanted to have it back to the stock 163ps. Therefore I went to a local studio which is remapping various of cars, especially those from the VAG-Group. It made a "standard" remap but right now I feel the car somehow less responsive and too explosive at around 2500RPM, it is not smooth as it used to be. Could someone review the remap? The DPF is also OFF.

Thank you in advance!

I will try to help you. You need a diagnostic equipment like BMW ICOM with NCS Expert and ISTA-P working or like Autel Maxisys. You have to delete VO Codes $843 (Power Reduction) and $7R9 (Fleet Edition). After deleting it, you have to program (upgrade) the engine ECU using Ista-P or Programming option in Maxisys. After that you will get your original 163hp power. After that you can remap it. I have 2 320d at home and one is Fleet Edition and the other one not. At stock I checked after upgrading like I said there's no much difference between the 2 cars, I checked one has less turbo at low revs (between 1500-1800RPM) and the other car has more, but I think it's DPF fault because the less turbo one has it. After that I remapped the 2 cars. First, I made an "explosive" remap, I mean, the car at 2000RPM was very hard, but the car seems that not runs... I made other version more smooth, I mean, not far explosive, but you feel the car push and runs.

I will try to check your remapped file, and if you need more help please pm me or better, email me (my email is on my profile). If you can, also send to me your original file.

PS: your file is not ok, please check and send right one!!!

Regards!!!
