I have a basket case DS3 1.6 110 HDI that i got cheap with a few issues. I have sorted the poor/non running (injector issues) and am now working through the other issues

Stop Start is not working, no ECO light on dash but additional ECU and Capacitor is present and so is stop/start alternator. (LIN fault for alternator logged in engine ecu)

I have now established that at some time in the past it's had a ECU/BSI swap with a unit from a non stop start car based on Servicebox VIN check.

It has Software Version PR062F0000000 on the ECU. I assume it does not have the stop function in the software. No stop start configuration options in Engine ECU with Diagbox only Alternator Type.

I have Flash dump from a stop/start ECU (Software Version PR181C0000000) however I have just noticed Hardware ID are different 9663241480 vs 9666681180 does anyone know if software is compatible or know of the correct stop/start software for my HW ID.

If I was to get a 9666681180 ECU can I copy the existing Eprom data across so the immobiliser works or would I need to virginise and manually code

Got a second hand stop start ECU and fitted emulator coded injectors and changed BSI config and now all good. Stop start and all other functions now working
