DPF off Siemens PPD 1.2

Postby 1komma9pd » Wed Apr 30, 2014 7:53 pm

Hello,

I want to delete dpf in a friends car.

Seat Leon 2.0 TDI PD 170hp
03G 906 018 DK
SN100K5400000

I haven't found a proper solution in the web, some people have used volta and ecusafe and then reset the dpf with vcds and it worked. Without resetting dpf values the car gives an error after some time. I haven't done this before. He needs the car every day and therefore we must do the cut-out and flash on the same day and it MUST work without errors or limb mode.

Now Ive used at first ecusafe and then volta. So is it the right way?

Ive received a swiftec solution from a user here
as comparing the swiftec file and my file (done with ecusafe AND volta) there are only some differences but I havent tested it yet

we will do the dpf cut out in summer and then I will flash the swiftec file
now Ive got some perfomance problems with this car, see here > http://www.ecuedit.com/iq-drops-down-ppd-1-2-t5866

Hi,

I am trying to remove the DPF from my car, a 2007 Passat 2.0 TDI PD 170hp, engine code BMR:
Siemens PPD 1.2
03G 906 018 EM
SN100L6000000

After searching for 2-3 weeks on the internet I am in the same situation as you are :)
I noticed that several users on various chip tuning communities are recommending to use the Ecusafe AND Volta solutions together. Other users say that Volta 1.2 alone should do the job.
In all cases, the Ash level must be reset using VCDS.
Some users are experiencing "ghost regenerations" every 1000-1500km, after the DPF Off operation.
A 100% successful DPF Off operation should completely eliminate all DPF-related behaviour.

I ordered a MPPS interface which should arrive in 1-2 days.

I am planning to do the following operations:
- physically eliminate the DPF
- read the ECU with MPPS
- modify the dump using Ecusafe 2.0.0.0 and Volta 1.2
- flash the changed dump back into the ECU

Can some more experienced users confirm that this is right?

Thanks

What about swiftec solution? I think this will work correct.

Do you know whence i can buy a datasheet which contains the hex-adresses of the various maps? Most people keep a low profile... :shh:

When you say "do not work", what do you mean exactly? The DPF is not eliminated completely? Or there are also other problems?

I've read that the swiftec solution is not good (I don't know more details)
