As this topic has the same subject than I was going to post, I'll borrow this to make some questions, sorry.
So, the patient is same: Citroen C5 2.2HDI mk1
As this car is new to me, we decided to get started with the hardest thing: Remove the FAP and CAT.
The FAP's and CAT's internals has been now fully removed. I have made the code-work by comparing the file to 2.0HDI file, which have been modified apparently with EcuSafe. Also apparently this works in somehow, because I can unplug the pressure differential sensor without getting any DTC's. But....
Today, while driving, we got the limp-mode and these codes with the somekind of universal PSA diagnostic tester. I dont remember what it was, anyway the DTS's:
P1421
P1536
P0245
Also there was flashing "ESP/ASR" and "Antipollution" faults in the dashscreen.
Now I am wondering, that is this outcome of the wrong remap or what? The 2nd and 3rd code disappeared with fault memory erase, but the first was still there. After some driving 2nd & 3rd came back. I didn't have the Lexia right then in my hands, so I wasn't able to get livedata out to diagnose this case any further.
I made a research and apparently 1st dtc is connected to exhaust temperature sensor, 2nd is for handbrakeswitch and 3rd is for boost-control. I have read that 3rd dtc are just because of boostpikes which are results of the empty FAP and CAT. This is not a problem. Iam going to make some modifications tomorrow to loose this dtc. 2nd code maybe accidentally appeared just now, and it has nothing to do with this case...maybe? 1st code is the one which are most interesting. Why did it appeared? And why I have the LIMP? Just for clarification, the LIMP didn't appeared in acceleration, so it is not (maybe) connected to 3rd dtc. It was nice driving, 100km/h with cruise, maybe 20km from the start.
So, anyone have fact's or educated quesses? :lolno:
I'm able to use the Lexia tomorrow and I will continue The Hunt.
