DPF / FAP off in general

I read that depending on the car's ECU can make a DPF / FAP off by switch or in combination. Can anyone explain a bit which is combined mode ? Thank you very much to all

search 16bit decimal hi/lo 32767 32768 , look for next 20 addresses 00256 is dpf switch...

This is true, but only in the VAG group

Vag in general but works for many more cars.... Only diffrerence is what more do you need to change

when you find 00256 you only replace with 00000 right?

try and you will see... if you find switch it will work on some cars you need to turn off more dpf functions, lets say on bmw postinjection is very important, but singleswitch stops regeneration also...

use damos, and try... or pay for a file and see what is changed... VAG switch is only "public" solution for dpf off as far i know, all other solutions are not public, if you know some share it :) i will share one example,...
