Differences between same HW/SW ORI files

Postby MembriyO » Thu Jan 04, 2018 3:40 am

I've found differences between ECU dumps from the interwebz that supposedly belong to the same EDC15C2 version of both HW and SW. Sometimes, it's just a handful of addresses. Other times, it's more than fifty... And they are all located near the end of the file, past the second bank of maps.

Out of curiosity... Does anyone know what are these? Odometer data makes sense for the fewer spots. But what about larger chunks of data? Different equipment? Immobiliser?

Just trying to make some sense of it all.

You will need to post Ori and map address for help...

No problem, but I don't think they are going to be of any use... The values are probably of different stored data for a particular car. It would be nice to know what are they from.

None of these are mine, I'm still untangling maps, graphs and single values from random hex dumps that *should* work in my project car.
