At some time ago I read the ECU of my car (BMW 520d from 2006, edc16c35) with MPPS V12 and the files have 1MB. I loan the MPPS and until the moment the guy never send me back.......Now i bought a MPPS V18 and I read the ECU and the files have 2MB and that's why i can write the files that I read from the MPPS V12. I am thinking to buy a MPPS V13 to write the files that I read with the MPPS V12.Somebody can say if it works, or if have any other solution?

Hexcompare to compare the files that I read with the mpps V12 and the V13?

It is possible to substitute the data from a read with mpps V12 (1mb) on a V18 (2mb) for example? I am asking that because I want to program the original file but he is in a mpps V12 version.
