Does the damos give every map for the ecu? It is very hard to understand ! I have looked at the edc16c34 damos and cannot make head or tail of it? Anyone understand it lol?

Hi mate,
an hour is not enough study to understand a Damos file, where you can get over 6000maps,course gives you headaches, especially if it is in German.with patience you will find it most helpful as possible that can get a tuner. For a good start better tu see the main maps,(10x16 maps,16x16,16x12,and so on)and study factors and offset, maps units, axe factors and units,so you can understand the logic of the smart guy who built that complex array of bits. All you need is patience intelligence and passion.

Rather than trying to trawl through a damos on its own, I put both as horizontal 2d views and scrolled through trying to copy names to large maps (as suggested above). A lot doesn't line up exactly, but the structure is similar. I was hoping it may give info on which 'multi' maps were which but only got a few regen ones.
What are you trying to find? I might have the wrong idea, but the way I see it is, if you're trying to change a chair you might paint it or put a cushion on it. You wouldn't try to make different leg heights or chop a corner off! A car is 100% good, but a few little tweaks on driver preference is better.
