Mappack is maps created by yourself or somene else with adreses of potential maps for tunig for specified ecu. Damos files is complete explanation of values in file (much much complexed than mappack).

Regarding this I have also a question.
As I understand map packs with addresses are useful for only the same kind of car with exactly the same ECU.
What about Damos files? Can I use Damos file of any EDC15 ECU to identify axes of the potential maps foun in my Alfa's EDC15 c5 ECU?

inside a map pack you can also find damos ...

and you have several types of damos
lot damos have not the tuning maps description
there are full damos and partial damos

for exemple the guy in factory that is there for assuring a good idle from the engine has not the whole maps only the areas that he need to mod
...
the guy that make the max power and torque has another damos
