Just a stupid question?

If i make a mapping with winols, this software will check and correct the checksum, correct?

Yes, will do it, but depends on the file/ecu and if winols has the correct library. When you import file you'll see that. Also be aware that MPPS for several ECUs(like bmw), reads only 32kb(engine maps) not all file with DTC's..what file will not be corrected with the new mpps only 1.5 version.
