Canadian/north american market heavy duty diesel engines

Postby antoine_leclair » Tue Dec 01, 2015 4:31 am

Hey there, i need to acquire information about the tuning of heavy duty diesel engines found in canada such as cummins, CAT, volvo/mack, Detroit diesel. I would like to know if anyone could point me out any interface that could be used to read/save/modify the flash files on the ecm's. At this point i don't know shit about the hardware needed or available neither than the software. I know some folks around here are drag racing with trucks with such engines that were remapped so i assume theres a way it can be done. I think i saw this forum is mainly over the europeean cars market. If anyone knows about forum that could be better for my needs let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated since i haven't found anything instructive in my research so far.

thanks for your time,

Antoine Leclair
