I am a novice at this tuning and software engineering stuff but I am smart enough to know that this is out of my league. Can anyone can offer advise or point me in the right direction for my project.
I am the owner of a performance parts company and want to take our existing re-flash and tuning business to the next level. The Bosch MED 17.2, MEVD 17.2.2 & MEVD 17.2.7 DMEs are the ones we want to look at first. I need someone with a skill set who can develop the software/firmware needed to overcome the tuning protection and password locks on these Tricore based DMEs and then reflash through OBD or the loom connector. I have talked with Alien, Dimsport and some of the other players but none seem interested in working with use on the development side, all they want to do is sell us their products and we would then be on our own.

What I am looking for is someone (free lance software engineer, third party developer, etc)who can create the private label link between standard (or not) tuning tools/software and talking the the Bosch DMEs. I do not want to open DMEs and go the BOOT mode process. The actual tune file is the simple part, so that is not what I need now.

From my research none of the large players have OBD tuning for these three listed DMEs and that is why I need a private developer to tackle this commercial (paid) project.

Any advice is most appreciated.
